Tues, June 7 - at Arbor's and outside all day!

Abe, first playgroup member to arrive, and Menemsha, in the aftermath of tasting fresh mulberries from the backyard.

Arbor, not so sure about the mulberries. He spit his out and then enjoyed delivering them to Abe.

Today's art project involved the (difficult, if you are two years old) task of using glue to stick something to cardboard. Sometimes they got lost in their sequence of steps, but mostly they got it! I gave them cardboard, paintbrushes, glue, feathers, and at the end, orange colored sand. Memento provided them each their very own envelope of foam animal stickers.

Nomi, the most dedicated visual artist in the group. Abe and Juni went for a little tough love in the background, which involved a hug, a push, and an "I love you."

Masterpieces.

Snack at Paerdegat Park in the shade: red grapes, glutino pretzels, raisins, water.

Seating rearrangement for round 2 of same snack.

Group Swing Time.

Perfect climbing structure for 2 year olds and new friends.

Nom-a-tron.

Pretty playground, almost all to ourselves, and surrounded by quiet tree lined streets.

It's no Prospect Park, but fun to explore.

Apparently East Flatbush playgrounds aren't high on the "mow the park" list.

Which is ridiculous because at that Lincoln Road playground, someone is blowing leaves or sand EVERY morning we're there.

Picking dandelions in the park is a nice perk of an unmoved park!

Adjourning for a meeing.

Meeting topic: spreading dandelion seeds.

And being cute together.

Abe was definitely excited about something....

Nomi's facial expression and position was for a real reason; Juni's position is sympathetic.

Abe hung back with Nomi to oversee Menemsha with the diaper change, while Arbor and Juni noticed the sprinklers had been turned on. Sorry kidz, next time we'll do water play.

Lunch: dilled brown rice and kidney bean salad, zucchini basil fritatta, and jicama.

Diggers and drillers.

Menemsha silly time. Arbor not impressed.

Wing flapping and Arbor remains unimpressed.

Then it became rope time.

Until there was a tangle and it was rope time no longer.

Arbor picked out his own clothes this morning.

Dessert! 100% fruit popsicles made with watermelon puree, banana, blueberries, strawberries, and kiwi.

Pick up time.

And this one just because its pretty with a filter.
